Re: Please don't shoot at the hurricane!

Shooting at hurricanes with firearms that have left hand twist rifling will only aggravate the storm. Since hurricanes in the Northern Hemisphere turn counter-clockwise, you need to make sure your firearm has right hand (clockwise) rifling so that you can fight the storm properly. ;)

Re: Range Rules After New Range "A" Construction

Now I am confused. I was sure I read that only RF on the new "A". .308 class is perfect for my purposes. Maybe I am mixing up memories lol. Gotta switch to "Lite" beer. Your confusion is legitimate. The Range Operating Instructions aren't very clear on this issue. I have edited ...

Re: Range Rules After New Range "A" Construction

There is probably some confusion going on with the changes in range designations (A, B and C) and their generic names, i.e. Range A being described as a 'Handgun Gun' range (although it is more than that) and Range B being described as a 'Rifle' range (although it is also more than that). There is s...

Yep. :) Though we are thinking we can probably lop off two inches from the legs and they will still be tall enough.

Re: Range Rules After New Range "A" Construction

Range C is designed to be an open floor facility, which makes it especially useful for the action shooting sports that take place there. No fixed positions are in the works for this range. Why not use a movable target stand on Range B?

Re: Cop shoots himself with holstered gun

Rare but can easily happen. Holster type like the Serpas can increase ND's. Also jacket toggles/other objects going into an empty holster can get tangled in the trigger upon reholstering. This is different from the usual ND. This is claimed to be spontaneous, as a result of an internal defect or fa...
